We have had a few Changes over the years in our food to keep up with new Products. Also better value for our clients. We source our Whole grains locally, crush & make mixes at least once a week, normally a Tuesday.

Magic Mix $35.

A top-of-the-line mix with everything your hens will need form Vitamins, Minerals, Garlic, and Grit.

 It is made up of grains & Pellets. Flax seed, Linseed, Wheat, maize, Barley, Peas, Sunflower, Safflower, Oats etc.

(  depending on your budget alternate between these 2 feeds)

Wormer Feed $40

 No withholding on eggs. You can still eat the eggs so no wastage. Same mix as Magic But with wormer powder.

 When feeding this product Please feed it and only it for at least a week or until bag is empty. (Can still feed scraps)

Bantam or Young bird $35 x 20kg

A finer grain mix with Plenty of protein and less calcium for young birds. No antistat for cocci. Can also be made with wormer $40

 Grower $38 x 20kg 

A mix of fine grains, 

chick crumble, Pullet Pellets. Meat bird Crumbles. Ideal or your growing birds.

No Pellet feed

Same mix as Magic but with out layer pellets.

  Special treat bag 10 kg $25

 All the special additives plus extra peas, Sunflower seeds, Oats, Flax Flakes, or what I have available at the time.

25kg Bag Direct from the factory. Suitable for adult hens.

Layer mix $35 Grains & Minerals Plus some Molasses. A basic feed can be feed dry with pellets or Bamp. I use this in most of my mixes.

Our Specialty Poultry mixes:  Which  are designed & made up at Taurimu. Only sold at Taurimu or on Delivery trips are as follows.

Magic mix is our biggest seller @ $35 per 20kg Bag .

This consist of layer mix, Pellets, Grain mixes with Molasses ( not over done) Wheat, Maize, Barley, Peas, Flax seed, Sunflower seed, oats etc. ( May Vairy according to availability) Vitamins & minerals, Kelp, Garlic, livermol, magnesium etc.      $35 x 20kg

Bantam mix as above but Wheat & other grains are crushed finer for Young birds & Bantams  . More meat bird used lus other Protien Products.                                                               $35 x 20kg.

Young Bird Mix. Much the same as Bantam mix finner grains for young birds

​50/50 This is a mix of Grains & pellets for the Adult birds, suitable for your layer.                                                         $35 x 20 kg                                                          

Wormer The above mix with a powdered wormer added

( fluebenol ) No with holding on eggs & easy to use.    $40 x 20kg

This has everything your hens will need in a feed. All grains including Peas, sunflower seed, and Crushed linseed. Garlic.Good protein. A selection Of Vitamins & Minerals with some Molasses.

Bantam Magic Mix 10 kg            $22                          20kg $35

Same as above but grains are finer and easier for Bantams & young birds before they can go onto larger grains. it has a higher Protein content.

WORMER MIX                              $22                            $40

Both of the above are made with a wormer. No withholding on eggs. Feed this for at least a week with no other grains. A treatment for all internal  Parasites including gap worm

 

Grower Mix 10 kg                          $22                             20 kgs $38

This has an antistat for coccidiacis . Plus Fine grains, smaller pellets & higher Protein for young birds

 4 to 12 weeks. Has special  Vitamins & Minerals

50/50                                                  $22                                       $30

 A mix of  "Grain Mix" Pellets with sunflower oil & Maize. This is a basic Feed for Hens.

Does not have the additives the above mixes have.

I suggest you alternate between this and MAGIC MIX according to your budget

Made with Sunflower oil.  A smaller pellet than some brands of which the hens like

  This can be fed wet or dry.  contain Molasses, Does not contain Wheat. Contains Barley. It has a lot of dry matter to bulk it up. Good to mix with Pellets.
